Q-I am wondering if it is a good idea to install laminate flooring in the kitchen? My other HUGE concern is that we own two Great Danes. How well will the laminate floor hold up to their nails? Any advice or experience will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
A-I have installed a lot of laminate in kitchens. With the big dogs I would recommend a laminate with an AC 5 rating. Also using a laminate with a waxed edge will help protect against spills. I have installed a laminate I was impressed with called Toklo. This product had a waxed edge and was priced reasonable. I like to promote products that I know are good quality.
