I am about to have install laminate flooring, was to be done by well known major hardware store. Then received the call to schedule and was then told by the stores installers that they do not install laminate floors in prefab homes. So I'm confident I can install it myself.
My question is, because the home joined together in the center, which is the best direction to install the floor planks, cross over the joint of the floor, or run the planks lengthwise in the same direction as the joint?
