Q- Laminate floor on laminate floor. Can we lay new laminate floor on the old floor? The floor is 15 years old and glued on top of a membrane of some kind. In the olden dags ( 15 years ago laminate floor Got glued on ). Some people say we cant and some people say we can a bit confusing. Thanks for your answer.
A- As long as the glued down laminate is solid and too difficult to remove, I think you could go over it. It will raise the height of the overall floor.
