Is there such a thing as GOOD 6mm thick laminate wood flooring?

Q- I am replacing carpet in my family room. Gap under my wall trim in 1/4 inches, which mean if I want to tuck laminate under trim, I need to use 6mm. I do not want to use 1/4 round additional trim piece. I know this is VERY thin, and I am wondering if there are any good quality, 6 mm wood laminates? Thanks for your help!

A- First of all, it would be very difficult to install laminate flooring under base board without removing it. You wouldn't be able to control the exspansion gap underneath the installed base board. And when you install the laminate up to the other side of the room it will be difficult to get the last row under the base board and then connect it to the floor.

As far as 6mm laminate goes, I have installed it a few times and it was always a nightmare. The planks were so flimsy and the quality was really bad. One of them I installed was the .79 a foot from Lowes. Now I noticed their .79 cent a foot laminate is 7mm.
